Rich B 10 Supreme Handcrafted USA
Born in the late 70s, the Bich 10-String model was well ahead of its time, offering an endless range of tonal varieties via its fully active electronics, neck-through body design and striking good looks. The Bich quickly became a studio and stage favorite of legendary players like Joe Perry and Slash, and was destined to become the most iconic shape in B.C. Rich history.
Played like a regular 6-string guitar, the basic principle of the 10-string guitar is much like a 12-string. The highest two strings are tuned in unison; the middle two strings are tuned in octaves, and the lowest two strings are single and do not have the upper octave strings. By leaving the two low strings single, it allows the player to get a normal distortion tone without confusing and cancelling the signal.
Powered by Dimarzio humbucker pickups, 5-way Moser Varitone filter lets players fine-tune frequencies with notch-style tone control, an invaluable tool with serious tone-shaping power. The Supreme Series is completed with Grover Super Rotomatic tuners and a fully adjustable B.C. Rich Quad bridge.
